BTL will soon reopen!

We are excited that BTL will soon reopen at our new location in Waverley Library at Bondi Junction with new sessions times. 

​

New Location

After 39 years in Bondi, we have relocated to the kids' section of Waverley Library in Bondi Junction. 2 hours of free parking are available downstairs with lift access directly into the Library.

​

New session days and hours

When we reopen, our open sessions will be:

Monday:          closed

Tuesday:         9:30am - 11:30am

Wednesday:    closed

Thursday:      9:30am - 11:30am

Friday:             closed

Saturday:       9:30am - 11:30am 

Sunday:            closed

Please do not return toys out of session toys. Fines and even membership penalties will apply. See membership terms for details.

Membership update

All memberships were frozen when BTL closed last year. They will unfreeze when we reopen. However, as a charity, we depend on membership fees to keep us going so if you'd like to renew your membership, that would be very appreciated.

Updated Toy Catalogue

We've updated our toy catalogue to make it easier to spark everyone's imagination. See our range of baby toys, dress ups, first nation puzzles and active toys like the river stones and balance beams.

Click & Collect

Members are welcome to use our Click & Collect system to reserve toys and book an appointment to pick them up. Watch this quick video for more info on how to use Click & Collect. 

 

Committee news

We will hold our AGM in December. All members are welcome to have a say in how we can make this essential community offering even better. Information will be posted here, in BTL and on our socials for available positions. If you're interested in getting involved, no matter how little, email us!
 

Please clean toys before returning them

​As a reminder members are expected to thoroughly clean toys before returning them. This is to protect the wellbeing of our wonderful librarians and the BTL community at large.​

 

We'd also like to thank Waverley Council for generously supporting BTL for another year. We're really excited about our plans work together to get even bigger and better. If you want to give back to the community, BTL is always excited to hear from you!
